音系研究的历史沿革:回顾与反思

Some Reflections on the Historical Development of Phonetic Study

本文从音的相同与不同入手,对结构主义的音位概念、生成音系学的底层形式、音系音段以及音系特征问题逐一作出阐释,最后指出语音的语言学研究非常重要,但语音的生理物理研究也同样重要,语音学离不开音系学、音系学同样也离不开语音学,这是当今语音研究的大方向和总趋势。

Starting with a discussion on the similarities and differences among speech sounds,this paper looks into the structuralist concept of phoneme,the underlying form posited in generative phonology,as well as the foregrounding of phonological segments and phonological features in the chronological order of their appearance.It concludes that placing phonetic study in the frameworks of linguistics,biology and physics is of paramount importance,that phonetics and phonology are inseparable,and that these two assumptions ought to underlie the general trend for current phonetic research.
