郑子瑜:被“修辞学史家”遮蔽的学术身份

ZHENG Zi-yu:An Academic Identity That was Shielded By the Title of "Rhetorics Historian"

郑子瑜因其早年在日本早稻田大学讲授中国修辞学变迁的学术经历及其后的中国修辞学史研究,受到中国学术界的崇敬。但"修辞学史家"的学术身份遮蔽了郑氏卓有精见的另一面:修辞诗学研究。本文作者以郑子瑜寄赠的《诗论与诗纪》为例,兼及国内学术刊物发表的郑子瑜部分论文,指出郑氏的修辞诗学研究不应该被忽视,阐释修辞学和诗学互相纠缠的问题。

With the experience of teaching Chinese Rhetorics and Transitions in Waseda University of Japan many years ago and his achievements thereafter in the studies of the history of Chinese Rhetorics, Mr ZHENG Zi-yu was greatly admired in Chinese academic field. However, the academic identity of ＂Rhetoric Historian＂ shielded his achievements in the studies on rhetorical poetics. In this paper, I take Poetics and Principles of Poems and other paper written by Mr ZHENG Zi-yu as examples to declare that Mr ZHENG Zi-yu＇ s achievements in rhetorical poetics should not be neglected.Besides, close relationship between Rhetorics and Poetics was explained in the paper.
