后殖民主义曾在20世纪80年代后期至90年代初期取代后现代主义,一度跃居西方理论批评界,是一种带有很强解构色彩的文化批评理论,它将批评研究的中心从文本形式转移到文化政治批评上来。本文简要介绍了后殖民主义批判理论的基本概况,概述了后殖民主义理论的启示和意义,着重论述了这种研究法在新闻传播中的应用。

The post-colonialism replaced the post-modernism from the late 80s to the early 90s in the 20th century, and had leapt into the front ranks of the Western theories critics, and it was a kind of culture critical theory with strong deconstruction color, it put critical research center to transfer to cultural political criticism. This article briefly describes the basic profiles of the post-colonial critical theory, outlining enlightenment and meaning of the post-colonial theory, focusing on application of this research method in journalism and communication.
