The technological process of PET melt convering was introduced. The technology design of jacket pipe in PET melt direct spinning was discussed from the aspects such as the primary selection of pipe diameter, the residence time in pipeline, the calculation of melt flow pressure drop, the calculation of melt pipeline partial pressure drop, the design of piping which can reduce the pipeline stress and design of other parts in the pipe.
