Re-understanding of Skopos Theory

目的论(Skopos theory)是德国功能派翻译理论的核心理论,自从引入到国内,产生了深刻的影响,打开了翻译的新局面。但是,目的论也并非一个通用理论,引起了中西学者的不少争议。本文将对其他学派对其的批评作出梳理,从目的论是否超越翻译、对原文的尊重、文化属性三个方面来探讨他的局限性。

Skopos theory plays an important part in functional translation theory.It has great impact in China.However,there are some limits in Skopos theory,which are criticized by scholars.This thesis will sort out these criticisms and discuss those limits from whether Skopos theory is beyond translation,its respect on source text,and its culture aspexts,intending to make a re-understanding on Skopos theory.
