This paper first introduces the present situation of the movie and TV education. Then, the culture interpretation value of the movie and TV works and the importance of movie and TV appreciation in college students＇ quality education and aesthetic education are analyzed. Especially the paper emphasizes that to promote the overall development of college students, the importance of movie and TV appreciation course should be held from many aspects and the leading role of movie and TV education should be brought into play fully.
