择定农业科技核心期刊的若干思考

REFLECT ON SELECTION OF NUCLEAR PERIODICALS IN AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES

农业科技期刊如同大一统的农业科学一样,包罗广泛,内涵繁多,结构复杂,且具强烈地域特性,故择定农科核心期刊困扰重重,进展迟在其他学科之后。本文变通思路,从宏观深省,把“核心”不作绝对理解,认为农科核心期刊为多元结构,分四大类型择定。同时主张分别采用不同方法择定核心刊物,实行多样化的统一。农科核心期刊稳定后应组织刊物、学科和图书情报三方面的力量进行综合研究利用,全面发挥农业科技核心期刊的学术功能。

Since agricultural scienteoch periodicals, like agricultural sciences, cover a wide range and have a strong regional characteristics, it is di- fficult to select nuclear periodicals in agricultural sciences. The author suggests that nuclear periodicals of agricultural sciences is of multi- structure and should be classified into 4 types and selected through different methods. After identification of the nuclear periodicals, inte- greted research and utilization should be carried out jointly by editorial, discipline and information departments and library, so as to bring the professional function of nuclear periodicals into full play.
