Objective To explore the significance of the change of CD+4CD+25T cells in peripheral blood in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM).Methods The frequencies of CD+4CD+25T cells were detected in 30 patients with DCM(DCM group) and 20 healthy donors(control group) by flow cytometry. Results The ratio of CD+4CD+25T cells/CD+4T cells was found to be significantly lower in DCM group[(8.53±1.64)%] than those of control group [(11.4±2.17)%](P〈0.01).The ratio of CD+4CD+25T cells/CD+4T cells had negative correlation with New York heart association functional classification.Conlusion The decreased ratio of CD+4CD+25T cells/CD+4T cells may lead to the down-regulation of autoimmune tolerance and brings about immunoreaction aiming directly at myocardium, which participates in the genesis of DCM.
