基于认知理论的英语听说教学改革及听说能力提高策略

摘要 认知教学法强调以学生为中心,将语言学习视为积极主动的认知过程。听说技能是大学生英语学习最大的障碍和急需提高的能力,而教学方法和手段直接影响学生的学习兴趣和教学效果。大学生英语听说能力差有多种原因,如英语语言环境缺乏、教学方法落后、主观认识不足等。本文根据目前我国大学生的英语听说能力现状,以认知教学法为理论指导,尝试提出提高英语听说能力的有效措施,以期对大学生英语学习和高校英语听说教学有所裨益。 The Cognitive Teaching Method stresses that teaching should be student - centered, and regards language learning as an active cognitive process. Teaching methods and means have a direct impact on students interest in learning and teaching effectiveness. Listening and speaking skills are the biggest obstacle to college students' English learning and the need to improve their capacity is urgent. The poor listening and speaking capacity of college students is due to a variety of reasons, such as the lack of English language environment, the backward teaching methods and the lack of awareness of the significance. Based on the present situation of college students' English listening and speaking capacity and with the Cognitive Teaching Method as guid- ance, this article tentatively puts forward some effective measures to improve college students' English listening and speaking capacity, hoping that these measures shall inspire and benefit English learning of college students and teaching of college English listening and speaking.
