中国古典小说中的媒人形象在小说的成长到成熟阶段经历了不同程度的变迁,不论是作用还是角色都发生了很大变化。从中国古典小说的发展历程中,通过对不同历史时期小说作品中的媒人形象的考察,对媒人形象的转变历程及特点提出了自己的见解。

The match--makers in China classical novels had different evolutions from growth to maturity in function and role. The author has made a research on match--makers in China classical novels of different history periods from the development process of China classical novels, and produced his own understanding of match-makers＇ evolution and characteristics.
