The year 2008 witnessed four important resolutions of UN Security Council on combating Somalia piracy,which trigger a lot of issues relating to international law.This paper attempts to deal with some issues that attract the public＇s most attention,such as the grounds for the resolutions of UN Security Council,and the resolutions or conventions for application in Soma-lia as well.Meanwhile,some illustrations have been made as to the rightfulness and lawfulness of China＇s sending an escort fleet to Somalia.
