This paper elaborates the process of making knot yarn on worsted spinning machine. It makes a mechanical analysis of the yarn twist knotting points, analyses the twisting torque and the untwisting torque, and on the basis of the above, it analyses the mechanism of making knot yarn and the factors that affect the construction of knot yarn.
