毛泽东结合中国实际创造性地提出社会主义社会基本矛盾学说;提出关于社会主义社会建设的长期性和社会主义社会发展的阶段性问题;提出开展"民主集中制"为核心的社会主义民主政治建设;提出涉及社会经济体制改革的一些设想;提出坚持"以人民群众为本"是社会主义社会建设的基础等等,这些思想原则,成为我们党新时期社会主义建设的认识基础,至今依然具有现实指导意义。

The contradiction theory is proposed by Mao Zedong on basis of realistic China, which explicates contradictions over the long terms versus temporary phases, the centralized democracy, socio-economic reforms, and the masses as the basis of socialist construction. This becomes the basic principle of the socialist construction of the Communist Party of China.
