摘要
在一般教学中,教师通常都是通过测验、期中或期末考试来获取有关学生学习情况的反馈,对教学和学习进行评估。这种评估往往忽视了学生在学习过程中的情感、态度、努力程度和存在的问题。形成性评价则是在教学过程中进行的评价,为引导教学过程正确、完善地进展而对学生学习行为进行的评价。本文分析了形成性评价的涵义、目的、原则,并提出了形成性评价的模式及其在大学英语口语教学中的实践方法。
In the traditional English language teaching, summative assessment is widely adapted and accepted. However, this assessment method is neither scientific nor reasonable. Both language teaching and learning are a process, the result of which can not be evaluated through one or two tests, espe- cially for oral English teaching and learning. Formative assessment is a form of testing that requires students to perform a task. The paper studies the meaning, the purposes and the principles of formative assessment, and proposes the model and the ways of applying formative assessment in college oral English classes.
