摘要
"精卫填海"神话源远流长,对其内涵的解读众说纷纭。从"精卫填海"反映的历史史实去考察,女娃"游"东海是炎帝女远嫁东海之国——少昊部落集团的形象描写,女娃"溺而不返"是由于难以跨海归乡导致的生命悲剧的写照,女娃于发鸠山化"精卫",衔西山木石以填东海,是炎帝女思恋故国寄托部族图腾崇拜的精神表现。
The fable of Jingweitianhai has a very long history, the translations about its original meaning are controversial. Verifying many historical facts which the fable reflected, the writer has drawn the following conclusions : Firstly, the right translation of Nvwa swam in the Eastern Sea is the vividly description of the Emperor Yan's daughter married to the Eastern Sea Country, the Shaohao tribe group, rather than swam in the sea. Secondly, the right translation of Nvwa being drowned is the portrayal of the life tragedy resulted from not returning her hometown because of the very long distance rather than being drowned. Thirdly, after Nvwa turned into Jingwei bird at Fajiushan, she kept beaking the pebble and branch from Xishan to fill up the sea showed that Nvwa placed her admiration on the totem of Shaohao tribe group and missed her hometown very much.
