摘要
詈骂语是一种特殊的语言现象,因其粗俗不雅的特征而被文明人所排斥。但是,詈骂语毕竟是语言的一个有机组成部分,作为一种记录社会生活原生态的活化石,是社会生活的一面镜子,曲折的反映了社会制度,是了解民俗文化的一个窗口。对中西詈骂语进行深入剖析,从中能够透视出英汉民族文化中许多独特的价值观和思维方式。所有这些由詈骂语折射出的价值观念无疑为我们透视民族传统文化和思维方式提供了另一个视角。
Swearwords are often disdained by civilized people owing to its vulgarity. But as the indispensable and special composition of the language, swearwords are a good mirror of social life and reflect the social moods and trends of respective societies. A contrast between Chinese and English Swearwords can inevitably reflect the cultural characteristics of the two nations and can give us a new perspective to probe into two cultures.
