著名美学家王朝闻自1950年代关注苏州评弹,堪称评弹美学研究第一人。从理论体系上看,王朝闻已经初步构建起独创性的评弹美学,本体论、体验论、听众论成为其评弹研究的三大理论支点。

Wang Chaowen, the famous aesthetician, has studied story-telling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect since the 1950＇s and he can be regarded as the number one expert in this field. Theoretically, Wang Chaowen has creatively developed his aesthetic studies on story-telling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect. And his theories of ontology, experience, audience have become three important theories in this field.
