Shortage on Cultivation of Chinese Culturally Communicative Competence and Methods in English Teaching

在我国英语教学中,本族文化交际能力培养处于边缘位置。应采取开发一套以中国文化为主题、以培养本族文化交际能力为目标、以文化输出为目的的外语教材,培养中国学生的民族自豪感,提高英语教师综合素质等措施改变这一现状。

It is a common phenomenon that the Chinese teachers and students pay little attention to the cultivation of native culturally communicative competence in English teaching,which can limit the existence and development of Chinese traditional culture.As a result,we should take some methods to change the situation,such as compiling a new kind of text book which is based on the Chinese traditional culture,trying to cultivate Chinese culturally communicative competence and exporting Chinese traditional culture to foreign countries;cultivating students＇ national pride;promoting teachers＇ comprehensive quality.
