边疆民族地区新建本科院校发展策略研究——以云南为例

A Study on Developmental Strategy of Local Newly-founded Universities in the Border and Minority Areas——Taking Yunnan as a Case Study

为适应云南经济社会发展和高等教育结构调整的需要,2000年以来,云南先后新建了8所普通本科高校。这些学校升格为本科院校后,面对变化的环境和时代发展的要求,如何科学定位,办出特色,尽快实现由专科教育向本科教育的过渡,实现从规模扩张型向质量提高型的转变,真正实现新建本科院校的内涵升本,文章在分析新建本科院校发展过程中存在问题的基础上,提出了切实的解决办法,以期推动边疆民族地区新建本科院校的持续、快速和健康发展。

Eight universities has been founded in succession in Yunnan since the year of 2000 to meet the need of economic, social development and the structure adjustment of higher learning in the province. In the face of the changing society and the development of the times, these newly-founded universities have to consider how to set its orientation scientically, ＂display their local special features, so as to transit from three-year college education to four- year quickly, from scale expansion to quality improvement in university development, and try to enhance connotation construction of the universities. The paper analyzes the developmental problems and brings forward feasible solutions to the above problems, hoping to facilitate a sustainable, quick and sound development of the newly-founded universities in fiontier and minority areas.
