It is studied that type of proximate order of an entire function defined by a Laplace-Stieltjes transform;we establish the relations between type of proximate order of the transform and ＂coefficients＂ and ＂esponent＂. It is sufficient and necessary conditions of type of proximate order, extending the corresponding results of Dirichlet series.
