基于单存储器架构的PDP图像数据处理方法

摘要 为降低PDP的成本,提高PDP图像数据处理的效率,在分析了双存储器架构图像数据处理方法的基础上,提出了一种单存储器架构的图像数据处理的方法。该方法通过压缩行场同步时间,提高数据处理速度,通过随机读写仲裁,实现一行时间内图像数据的随机读写。32英寸PDP的验证结果表明,单存储器架构使存储空间利用率提高了13.2%,时间利用效率提高了22%,并使存储器数量减少一半。 In order to reduce the cost of plasma display panels (PDPs) and improve the processing efficiency of image data, a new hardware frame with single-memory for image data processing is proposed after analyzing the hardware frame with double-memory. They random read-write of image data in one row is realized by compressing field and horizontal pulse, improving the data processing speed, and arbitrating the random read-write access. The experiment results in 32-inch PDP shows that the usage factor of the memory and time efficiency are improved about 13.2% and 22% respectively, and quantity of memory is re-duced by half.
