Three Gorges Project Operation and Management

三峡枢纽从2003年6月10日蓄水至135 m,进入围堰发电运行期,至2008年11月份试验性蓄水至172.8m,已逐步由工程建设为主转为以枢纽运行为主。为了加强三峡枢纽的运行管理,三峡集团公司成立了专门的运行管理机构,建立了运行管理机制,确保了枢纽的安全运行,逐步实现了三峡工程初步设计的正常运行期防洪、发电和航运等综合效益。

With a water level of Three Gorges reservoir to 135 m by cofferdam retaining in June 10,2003,the project come into a power generation period with low head.With a pilot water level to 172.8 m in November 2008,project has been gradually shifted from the construction to operation.In order to strengthen the operation and management of Project,a professional operation and management institution and mechanism is set up to ensure the safe operation of Project,and has progressively achieved the benefits on flood control,power generation and navigation determined by the preliminary design.
