摘要 在基于视频分析的驾驶员状态检测过程中,其中的关键环节是对驾驶员眼睛状态的检测。针对现有方法对光照变化比较敏感且比较复杂的缺点,提出基于方差投影函数的眼睛状态检测方法。人眼区域的灰度值在不同光照条件下均呈现相同的变化规律,方差投影可以稳定提取不同光照条件时眼睛区域特征。经过对大量不同光照条件下,人眼睁、闭时眼睛区域方差投影分析,发现在这两种状态下投影形成的波峰有明显区别,可以作为有效识别人眼这两种状态的特征。实验结果表明该方法对光照条件具有一定的鲁棒性。 The detection of drivers' eyes state is a key part in detecting drivers' state based on vision analysis process.The present methods are not in real-time due to complex arithmetic,or are very sensitive to the variety of illumination,and they are not suitable to drivers working condition.A new method based on variance projections function is put forward.The intensity of eyes area changes orderly under different illumination.So the eyes' feature can be extracted at any illumination.A lot of eyes area variance projections under different illumination have been studied and it is found that there are distinct differences between the projections when the eyes are open and when the eyes are close,the two states of the eyes using these features can be recognized.The experiment result shows that the method is Robust to different illumination condition.
