摘要
《押沙龙,押沙龙!》的篇名得自《圣经.旧约》,其故事结构与《圣经》中"押沙龙"的典故也大致相似,这使它具有了《旧约》的原始色彩与悲剧格局。除此以外,这部作品之所以能给人留下难以磨灭的印象,还因为在萨德本家族的两个最复杂的主人公身上,再现了有关个人命运和社会伦理的两个基本原型:其一是英雄原型,这主要体现在萨德本富有传奇色彩的个人创业中;其二是乱伦神话原型。
Absalom,Absalom! is drived from Bible＊the Old testament and its structure are similar to Absalom＇s story in Bible,which bring it primitive color and tragedy pattern. Besides that,what brings the book indelible impression is the two archetypes about individual destiny and social ethics that indicated in the most complicated fingers：one is the hero archetype,which are showed in Sarteben＇s legendary venture;another one is the incest myth archetype,which are mainly showed in Charles Bang＇s mystery life. Just through the modern revival of ancient archetype,the theme of the works has been deepen and widen enormously,and the works also has stirring artistic charm.
