摘要
多模态话语分析是国际上分析口语语料的新趋势,为全方位研究非言语交际能力提供了可能。本文作者以此为理论基础,结合学生和教师的问卷调查结果,设计出一套中国大学生英语口语非言语交际标注指标。将其试用于上海某高校23名受试的小组讨论语料后初步验证了其合理性和可信度。研究结果表明受试在非言语交际上存在不充分、不自然,进而影响整体口语输出质量的情况。本文最后对我国高校英语口语的教学和评估提出了相应建议。
Multimodal discourse analysis is a new tendency of analyzing oral language data internationally, which makes it possible to investigate non-verbal communication in an all-round way. Taking it as a theoretical basis and integra- ting survey results of students and teachers, the writers of the present paper designed a set of non-verbal communication marking indexes for Chinese college students. It proved its rationality and reliability after being applied to the analysis of group discussion of 23 students selected from one university in Shanghai. Results show that the non-verbal communication of the subjects is far from sufficiency and naturalness, thus affecting the general quality of their oral output. At the end of the paper, corresponding suggestions on oral English teaching and assessment in Chinese colleges are put forward.
