An Empirical Study of the Cultivation of Autonomous Learning Ability of College English Students

本研究以实证研究为依托，在了解影响学生自主学习能力形成因素的基础上，确定了培养学生英语自主学习能力的切入点，确立并实施了“显性”和“隐性”相结合的大学英语自主学习能力培养体系，经验证实验组学生的自主学习能力明显提高。

This paper is based on an empirical study. First, we identified the breakthrough points of students＇ au- tonomous learning ability training, whereupon we established a training system for the development of autonomous learn- ing ability incorporating both dimensions of ＇ explicit＇ and ＇ implicit＇ training. After a pilot running for one academic term, the effectiveness of the cultivating system has been proven, and the students＇ autonomous learning ability has been found to have apparently increased.
