地方综合性大学国家级大学英语教学改革示范点建设的创新与实践

The Construction of the State-level Demonstration Site for College English Educational Reform in a Local University:Innovations and Practice

2006年以来，教育部在全国65所高校施行大学英语教学改革示范点项目建设。扬州大学按照《大学英语课程教学要求》，对大学英语教学进行了全方位的改革。学校在课程设计、教学方法、教学手段和学习效果评价体系等方面的创新与实践，为同类地方综合性大学的大学英语教学改革提供了有益的示范作用。

In the past 5 years, 65 universities have been authorized by the Ministry of Education as the State-level Demonstration Sites for College English Educational Reform. This paper reports how Yangzhou University follows College English Curriculum Requirements in the reform, what has been done in this university to reform and develop the college English curriculum and what effects such reforms have produced on both College English teaching and learning. In parti- cular, the University＇ s innovations have been made in such areas as curriculum design, educational methods, teaching practices, educational facilities and the assessment of students＇ performance. The construction of the Demonstration Site has set an example for other similar universities in the reform of College English education.
