Wind power-generation, as a kind of clean energy, is widely used presently. This essay describes basic knowledge for wind power-generation and construction situation of wind power plants, expounds possibility of setting up off-grid wind power plants on hydrometric stations in remote areas. Its actual application on hydrometric stations has verified that off-grid wind power can get good application on hydrometric stations in remote areas.
