摘要
英语主动语态与被动语态的句子表征同一事件,但其使用的意义和场合不同。本文以主位-述位理论和及物性理论为依据,分析了他们的不同。并以实例讨论了他们在不同的场合的不同意义,以及在语篇中的衔接作用和与语类的关联。
The active voice and the passive voice in English represent the same happenings but they have different meanings on different occasions when used. Based on the theme-rheme theory and the transitivity process theory the paper discusses these differet meanings on different occasions and their correlation to the discourse cohesion and the discourse types.
