排他性范围副词功能语用分析——基于双语语料库的英汉对比研究

Pragmatic Functions of Exclusive Particles in Chinese and English——A bilingual corpus-based contrastive study

排他性范围副词承担着重要的语篇信息承接与转折的作用,通过对它的功能语用研究可以更加准确地理解语篇信息,把握作者/言者意图。对其进行英汉对比,更可以揭示出两种语言中该词类的语用使用范围,细微差别及语用倾向性。基于双语语料库,以韩礼德的系统功能语法为主要分析方法,从"概念"、"人际"和"语篇"三个层面对语料进行元功能分析可以有效地展示出英汉排他性范围副词的真实使用情况及其语用功能。

A pragmatic study of the exclusive particles enables a more accurate understanding of the dis- cursive information and speaker＇s intention. A further comparative study in English and Chinese could reveal the pragmatic application scope, pragmatic nuances and pragmatic inclination. Basing on natural data, taking Systemic Functional Grammar as the analyzing principle, a corpus-based study was presented to explore the data metafunctionally on three levels, i.e. ideational, interpersonal and textual, by which the natural use of the exclusive particles and their pragmatic functions could be effectively portrayed.
