A Study on the Mission to Serve the Local Economic and Social Development of Higher Learning Institutions in the Western Ethnic Regions

有效地服务地方经济社会发展,是对西部民族地区高校的迫切要求。借鉴国外大学服务地方经济社会发展的经验,文章分析了西部民族地区高校服务地方经济社会发展的途径。同时,就西部民族地区高校服务地方经济社会发展,从国家、政府、高校三个方面提出了政策建议。

To serve the local economic and social development effectively is an urgent mission of higher learning institutions in the Western ethnic regions.This paper uses the experience of some universities abroad for reference and makes an analysis of the ways for universities in the Western ethnic regions to serve the local economic and social development.It also puts forward policy suggestions to the State,the government and universities on this issue.
