摘要
综述国内外光纤材料的发展现状，讨论光纤强度问题，强调开展光纤断裂失效分析的重要性，并介绍光纤在军事上的应用。
In this paper the research and development of optical fiber materials are reviewed,and the problems on the strength of optical fiber are discussed.The importance of the fracture failure analysis of optical fiber is emphasized,and the military applications of optical fiber are introduced.
