服务社会是现代大学的三大职能之一,很多高校在发挥自身优势为地方经济社会发展作出了较好的贡献。但在这一进程中一系列棘手的问题也逐渐显落出来,如信息不对称、研发资金不充裕、信用机制不健全、激励制度不完善等。这些问题的解决仅靠高校自身是无法做到的,它是一个系统工程,需要建立一个包括政府、高校、企业、投融机构,甚至公民个人参与的多中心的治理模式。

To serve the society is one of the three major functions of modem colleges and universities. However, colleges and universities, in the process of making use of their own advantages to serve the society, fall across such problems as unparalleled information, insufficient capital for development, unhealthy credit system, and imperfect encouragement system. These problems cannot be solved by colleges and universities themselves, and which demands a systematic management mode involving government, colleges and universities, enterprises, investment and financial institutes, and even individual citizens.
