国内加拿大研究近三十年回眸与前景展望

A Review and Prospect of China's Canadian Studies for the Past 30 Years

1984年,中国加拿大研究会在四川外语学院宣告成立,这标志着中国的加拿大研究揭开了新的篇章。在过去的近30年中,不仅中国加拿大研究会的规模空前扩大,与国外的联系日益密切,而且不少学校都建立了专门的研究机构。全国各加拿大研究机构培养了一大批加拿大历史、政治和外交专业的硕士和博士研究生,为中国加拿大研究的全面繁荣提供了充足的后备军。不利于研究的因素正在陆续排除,国内加拿大研究的前景美好。

In 1984, the Association for Canadian Studies was proclaimed as established in Sichuan International Studies University, which means a new beginning of Canadian studies in China. For the past 30 years, the Association has developed on an unprecedented scale, and kept closer touch with foreign countries. Many universities have also set up a special research institute. All these research institutes in China have trained a great number of postgraduates and doctors majoring in Canadian history, politics and diplomacy, who are the sufficient reserves for the complete prosperity of China＇ s Canadian studies. All the possible unfavorable factors have been eliminated gradually, and there is a bright future for Canadian studies in China.
