The Status Quo and Guidance of the Youth's Ideological and Moral Quality

调查表明,当前青少年思想道德素质总体上是健康的、积极向上的,青少年有较强的爱国意识和集体精神,价值追求积极,基本文明素养在逐步强化,正形成正确的价值观。同时,他们身上也存在一些不可忽视的问题:"自我情绪"凸显,缺乏明确的理想信念;内心苦闷,渴望理解;道德认知和行为出现矛盾性;精神生活贫乏。因此,必须加强青少年的理想信念教育、道德教育及心理健康教育,提高青少年感受幸福的能力;科学知识教育和人文教育并重,关注学生人文素质的提高。

The survey reveals,that nowadays, the youth＇ ideological and moral quality is generally healthy and vigorous. The youth have a strong sense of patriotism and collectivism. They are pursuing active values, strengthening basic civilization qualities, and forming correct values. In the meanwhile, they also have some problems that can not be neglected： having obvious ＂selffocused feelings＂, lacking clear ideal and belief; feeling depression psychologically, longing for being understood; having contradiction between moral cognitions and behaviors;and lacking spiritual life. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen education on the youth in terms of ideal and belief, morality, and psychological health so as to improve their ability to enjoy happiness. We should focus on both the education with science and the education with humanism. Further more, we should be concerned with improving students＇ humanistic quality.
