A Textual Interpretation of Attempting to Transcend Structuralism——An Analysis of Roland Barthes on Genesis 32:22-32

巴尔特作为一位结构主义者,在对《创世记》32:22-32的分析中运用了普洛普和格雷马斯的形式分析方法,但他又拒绝高度模式化,而采取了相对非科学化的态度。同时,他在结构主义分析之外又对文本序列进行细微阐释,得出文本意义多元性(双重性)的结论。

As a structuralist, Roland Barthes analyzed Genesis 32：22 -32 by the method of Propp and Grei- mas＇ formal parsing. He took a relatively non - scientific attitude rather than a high degree of patterning. Moreover, besides the structural analysis he took a subtle interpretation of the textual sequences, and drew a conclusion of plurality （dual nature） of text meaning. This article is to explore how Roland Barthes analyzed the text from ＂mode＂ to ＂non - mode＂ to ＂multi - sense＂, so as to transcend his own ideology of structuralism.
