“最好”的词义演变与主观化

Study of Semantic Evolution of zuihao from the Perspective of Subjectification

现代汉语中的"最好"既是一个形容词性短语,同时也可以是一个表示言者主观情态意义的语气副词。"最好"的词义演化是语法化过程,同时也是主观化过程。主观性的不断加强是该词词义演化的一个重要动因。"最好"的演化过程还伴随着它在句子中位置的左移运动。

In modern Chinese, the word zuibao is both an adjective phrase and an adverbial indicating the speaker＇s mood. The semantic evolution of zuihao is a process of grammarticalization as well as a process of subjectification. This paper argues that its semantic evolution results from the ever increasing of its subjectivity and is closely connected with its leftward movement within the sentence.
