摘要
对西南民族大学藏族大学生的英语词汇学习策略与英语成绩间关系的研究表明:学生倾向于运用记忆加工难度不大的词汇学习策略,对于英语词汇学习观念和策略的认识尚浅;"运用背景知识及篇章信息"的猜测策略与英语成绩呈显著正相关,而"运用母语"策略则与英语成绩呈显著负相关;高分组和低分组在英语词汇学习策略上存在差异,但具有显著性差异的仅有两项策略。
The study of the relationship between the vocabulary learning strategies and English outcomes of Tibetan college students who are studying at Southwest University for Nationalities indicates that the students tend to use vocabulary strategies that do not require much memory process and that their understanding of the conception and strategies of English vocabulary learning leaves much to be desired. The study also shows that the strategy of guessing word mearing with the help of context and background knowledge is positively correlated with the English outcome while the strategy of using mother tongue is negatively related with it and that there are differences between upper group and lower group in using vocabulary learning strategies, though only two of them being statistically significant.
