摘要
胡瑗在继承孔孟政治理想的基础上,更重视"王道"社会实现手段的多样化,重视教育为现实社会服务。胡瑗认为,教育的首要任务就是传播圣人之道,所以他高度重视"圣化"的治国作用。因此,他主张一方面要知人善任,广纳天下贤才;另一方面要依靠教育,让学校培养的人才能够更好地治理国家。
In addition to the political heritage of Confucius and Mencius, Hu Yuan paid more attention to the diversified approaches to the "kingcraft" in the society and to how to make education serve the society. In Hu Yuan's opinion, the foremost purpose of education is to disseminate the doctrines of the sages. That is why he thought highly of the administrative function of "sanctification". Therefore, he advocated the significance of knowing and commissioning talents appropriately, and recruiting talents throughout the country. Moreover, he held that better administrative talents rely on better schooling.
