高校图书馆外文图书低利用率的原因及对策

Reasons and Solutions of Low Utility of Foreign Books in University Library

外文图书对促进高校教学和科研,了解西方最前沿资讯具有非常重要的作用。然而高校图书馆外文图书却普遍存在读者少、利用率低是的问题,这种怪现象与人才密集的高校是极不相称的。本文就我院实情从体制、图书采访、读者水平、经费等方面分析外文图书利用率低的原因,并提出相应对策来提高外文图书利用率。

Foreign book plays an important role in promoting teaching and researching work of colleges and universities, as well as understanding advanced information from western countries. However, the strange phenomenon of few readers and low utility of foreign books in university library is unbecoming for a place full of talent. Based on the situation of our college, this paper analyzes the reasons from the following aspects ： system, book acquisition, level of readers, and funds, then provides solutions to raise the utility of foreign books.
