当前中国道德教育的文化使命

The Culture Mission of Moral Education in Current China

当前我国道德教育置身于复杂的文化背景之中,应当承担起道德文化启蒙或新道德文化重建的使命,即吸收各种文化的有益成分,对各种文化资源进行整合与创新,重建一个和谐的道德文化系统。通过文化自觉、文化创新、文化对话和文化共通等途径,既要传承优秀的传统道德文化,涵养化育民族自信,又要创造性地转化传统道德文化,增强文化活力;既要增进文化理解,保持文化多样性,又要追寻普遍价值,培养有世界公民意识的人。如此,中国道德教育方能为建设一个"各美其美,美人之美,美美与共,天下大同"的人类社会做出其应有的贡献。

Being in the complicated background, moral education in current China should take on the mission of enlightening or reconstructing moral culture, which means absorbing useful ingredients of various cultures, integrating or innovating various cultural resources, and reconstructing a harmonious moral cultural system. Through cultural consciousness, cultural innovation, cultural dialogue and cultural commonness, we should not only transfer excellent traditional moral culture to cultivate national confidence, but also creatively transform traditional moral culture to strengthen cultural vigor. We should pursue the universal ethics to bring up persons of cosmopolite sense while improving cultural understanding to keep up the diversity of culture. Thus Chinese moral education could give her contribution to the construction of a harmonious but different human society.
