本文介绍了一种用化学法在光纤表面镀银的工艺及其设备。这种工艺的主要特点是光纤在拉丝过程中同时涂敷金属银，可得到有良好导电性的、连续的镀银光纤。

This paper introduces a technique and equipment for making Ag coated optical fiber by chemical method. The process features simultaneous optical fiber drawing and Ag coating. Continuous Ag coated optical fiber with good conductivity has been obtained.
