Railway and the development of industrial and coal mining industry in northern Henan in the Republic of China

民国初期,铁路在华北兴起并形成网络之后,加速了华北内陆与沿海通商口岸经贸交流的进程,推动了内陆经济由传统向现代的转型。由此,豫北的工矿业发生了极富时代特色的变动。由于自然经济依然存在,这一转变过程表现出很强的多样性和复杂性。因此,通过对豫北近代工矿业发展的具体考察,揭示了华北内陆区域经济由传统向现代演变的主要特征及一般规律。

In the early of the Republic of China, The rise of the railway and the formation of networks in northern China, Accelerated trade exchanges between China＇s northern regions and the coastal ports to promote the landlocked econo- mies in transition from traditional to modern. As a result, northern Henan＇ s industrial and mining have taken place a characteristics change with the times. As the natural economy still exist, this process of change showed a strong diversi- ty and complexity. Therefore, the article by study the areas north of Henan＇s industrial and coal industry, that it is try to revealing the main characteristics and the general law of regional economic transformation from traditional to mod- ern.
