Development Platform of CAD Based on Object-Oriented Technology

本文讨论利用面向对象技术的封装性、继承性、多态性实现开放的CAD开发平台，各家CAD软件开发单位在此平台之上加入各自的先进号文术，最终形成一个优化的CAD／CAM系统。文中以ObjectARX为参考详细讨论了面向对象CAD开发平台的体系结构、数据模型、对象的可扩充性以及消息响应机制。

This paper discusses how to use object-oriented technology to realize an open development platform of CAD software. Any CAD software vendor may develop their advanced products based on this platform, and the joint efforts will result in a best of the class integratd CAD/CAM system as a whole. In the paper, some problems are discussed in detail by referring to ObjectARX system. These problems include the system structure, database model, the extension of object and message-reactor mechanism of the developmeni plaiform.
