The 21st century offers both a great opportunity and a great challenge for the development of the female librarians. This paper mainly discusses the social demands and main obstacles in the development of the female librarians in 21st century, points out the changing of their developing thinking, analyzes their development space, and puts forward how library can offer them a good environment.
