摘要
网格环境中的资源预留机制为跨站点的协同资源分配提供可靠的服务质量保证.针对传统预留机制存在本地任务QoS难以得到保障的缺陷,提出一种基于效益均衡的预留机制.该机制通过比较资源预留收益与预留对本地任务执行所造成的负面影响来确定资源预留数量,以期取得网格任务QoS保障和本地任务QoS保障的效益均衡.模拟实验采用真实系统负载在较大规模的计算网格系统中检验了该机制的性能表现,实验结果显示,基于效益均衡的预留机制能有效提高资源利用率,同时能显著降低任务的资源费用情况.
Resource Reservation is a mechanism that can provide reliable QoS for resource coallocation in Grid environment.For guaranteeing local job′s QoS requirements,a novel resource reservation mechanism based on Cost-and-Profit-balancing is presented.In our mechanism,in order to bridge the gap between Grid job QoS guarantee and local job QoS guarantee,resource amount for reservation is determined through comparing profit got by reservation and negative impact on local job.We conduct extensive simulations in real workload to evaluate the performance of our mechanism.The results show that the proposed mechanism can improve resource utilization and can reduce Grid job′s budget significantly.
