论蒯因的相似性概念

On Concept of Quine's Similarity

哲学的动机或者广泛意义上的科学的动机促使蒯因追求特殊的/相对的相似性概念以及普遍的/绝对的相似性概念。蒯因根据不同的标准提出了繁杂的相似性概念的类别,在他看来,相似性概念对于语言和思想来说是最根本的,而他的自然主义的形而上学其实是一种语言哲学和思想哲学。因此,准确理解蒯因的相似性概念便成为准确的理解蒯因哲学的一个关键。

Philosophical or broadly scientific motives impel Quine to seek special/relative concepts of similarity and a cosmic/absolute concept of similarity. Quine provides many complex kinds of concepts of similarity in light of different levels,in his views,concepts of similarity are the most basic to language and thought,at the same time,his naturalistic metaphysics is a sort of philosophy of language and philosophy of thought in nature. So,to understand Quine＇s concepts of similarity properly is a key to understand Quine＇s philosophy accrately.
