摘要
提出了一种新的快速多参考帧选择算法。用边缘检测及相关性信息确定候选参考帧集合,并利用P8×8模式下的运动矢量分布情况判断宏块的运动特性。该算法在JM10.2平台上进行了实验验证,在编码质量下降不大的情况下,大大提高了编码速度。
H.264/AVC uses multiple reference frame motion estimation to enhance coding efficiency.But the computational cost linearly increases with the number of reference frames.In this paper,the candidate reference frames are determined based on edge detection and correlation information.The motion characteristics of the macroblock are judged by motion vector field with P8×8 mode.A fast multiple reference frame selection algorithm is proposed.Experiments on JM10.2 are performed and results show that the proposed algorithm significantly saves encoding time with neglectable loss of image quality.
