Updating remotely the program of DSP based on serial communication

本文提出了一种基于通用异步收发器(UART)的串行通信远程更新DSP程序的方案。主控PC机通过发送程序更新指令给DSP,DSP收到指令后根据通信协议将FLASH中的原有程序擦除,写入与校验,最后完成DSP程序的更新。本文结合TI公司的TMS320C6713处理器,详细阐述主控PC机与DSP通信协议的编制,FLASH编程与二次引导方法的设计,以及最终实现DSP程序的远程更新与自启动。

A new approach based on Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter（UART） to update remotely the program of DSP is introduced in this paper.PC sends commands to update the program of DSP, when DSP receives the instructions of PC and then it operates the FLASH, erase, write and check.This paper takes the chip TMS320C6713 of TI for example,and expounds the protocol between PC and DSP,the program method of FLASH.Finally, the code is updated and will automatically be copied from CE1 to address 0.
