摘要
BDM是一种正在被业界广泛使用的嵌入式MCU在线编程调试技术。通过对适用于Freescale HCS12系列MCU的开源编程调试工具进行分析,发现其存在不能与高频率目标芯片进行通信的局限,而且由于采用USB1.1协议与PC机通信,速度较慢。提出了采用USB2.0技术重新设计编程调试器硬件及底层驱动软件的方案,有效地的解决了频率瓶颈度与通信速问题,设计出一种新型高效的适用于Freescale HCS08/RS08/HCS12系列MCU的通用编程调试器(USBDM)。
BDM is one of the MCU on-chip debugging technology which is widely been used.By analyzing MCU open source programmerdebugger suitable for Freescale HCS12 family, we find BDM's limitation that it can not communicate with target MCU of high frequency.And its communication speed is relatively slow due to the use of USB1.1.So the method which can solve the communication speed and frequency is developed based on USB2.0 technology.We redesign programmerdebugger hardware and software, therefor, USBDM which fits for the family of Freescale HCS08/RS08/HCS12 is developed.
